The New River Treasure Hunt Challenge is available from February 2023!
Yo ho ho! You are a feared pirate group, taking on the challenge crafted by the finest minds of the famous Scuds merchant clan, operating the Cam’s waters. Whether you need to organise a hen party, corporate event, or fun day with friends or family – this punting experience will challenge everyone. Such a great way to make your party memorable!
Our renowned River Treasure Hunt is designed to combine elements of entertainment and sightseeing. The prize is awaiting those who take on the quest. You can join our captain's crew or try the challenge of navigating the river waters by yourself. Groups of people will work together as a team to find the treasure, each equipped with a treasure hunt pack and a chance to claim the prize!

How many people can each boat hold?
Our self-hire boats hold up to 6 people and our chauffeured tour boats hold up to 12 passengers.
What is the start and endpoint of the treasure hunt?
You can choose between our two departure points when you book: Mill Lane or Quayside. Your treasure hunt will finish at the same place you started from.
How long is the experience?
Self-hire treasure hunt is approximately 2 hours and chauffeured one is 1 hour long.
What if the weather changes on the day?
All of our tours run as normal unless the river conditions are dangerous and we have to stop operating. As standard, we provide umbrellas and blankets on our chauffeured tour boats.
Can I move or make changes to my booking?
