1.

Purchase
|
Self-Hire Season Tickets (the "Hire Tickets") and
Chauffeured Season Tickets (the "Tour Tickets") are
available online from the Scudamore's website, by telephone from our
bookings office or on-station.
|
|
2.
|
Users
|
Hire Tickets and Tour Tickets are valid for use by the purchaser plus
one other nominated user (the "Ticketholders") and
are non-transferable to other users. Once confirmed, the identity of
the Ticketholders cannot be changed.
|
|
3.
|
Validity
|
Hire Tickets and Tour Tickets are valid for from the date of issue
until 30 September 2010 the "Valid Period"), after
which date they expire.
|
|
4.
|
Days
|
During the Valid Period Hire Tickets and Tour Tickets are valid on
particular days (the "Applicable Days") as follows:
Byron / Milton / Newton: standard weekdays only - weekends and
public holidays are excluded. For the avoidance of doubt, public
holidays in this context refer to Good Friday and Easter Monday (where
they fall into April), the two May Bank Holiday Mondays, the August
Bank Holiday Monday and any other UK public holiday that may from time
to time arise in the Valid Period.
Rutherford / Tennyson / Wordsworth: seven days per week.
Please note: if we consider conditions to be unsuitable or unsafe
on any given day, we reserve the right not to open and / or let out
self-hire craft and / or run chauffeured punt tours.

5.
|
Hours
|
On Applicable Days Hire Tickets can be used between 09:00 and 21:00 or
the particular day's closing time if earlier than 21:00 and Tour
Tickets can be used between 09:30 and 17:30 (the "Applicable
Hours"). Any hire or tours outside of the Applicable Hours
will be charged at standard rates.

6.
|
Hire routes
|
Hire Tickets apply to the two hire
routes as follows:
Byron / Tennyson: Top River (Grantchester) only - the College
Backs are excluded.
Milton / Wordsworth: Top River & College Backs.
Tour Tickets apply to the College Backs only.

7.
|
Applicable stations
|
Hire Tickets apply to our Mill Lane station (College Backs) and Mill
Lane boatyard (Top River) only. The Magdalene Bridge station is
excluded.
Tour Tickets apply to our Mill Lane station only. The Magdalene
Bridge station is excluded.

8.
|
Craft
|
Hire Tickets are valid for the following
craft; standard 6-person punts, canoes, kayaks (1 &
2-person) and rowboats (the "Hire Craft"). Hire
Tickets are not applicable to the hire of 12-passenger ferry punts on
the Top River or to chauffeured tours in either direction.
Tour Tickets are applicable to 12-passenger chauffeured ferry punts
(the "Tour Craft") only.

9.
|
Sessions
|
Hire Ticketholders are entitled to one free Hire Craft session (the
"Hire Session") per Applicable Day. A Hire Session
applies to one craft only at a time and may be as short as one hour or
as long as a day (i.e. the full Applicable Hours). Tickets cannot be
used for more than one Hire Session per day - e.g. both ticketholders
cannot use a Hire Ticket for separate Hire Sessions on the same day.
Tour Ticketholders are entitled to one free public College Backs punt
tour session (the "Tour Session") per Applicable Day.
A Tour Session is a full return tour, lasting approximately 45
minutes; private tours and public ghost tours are excluded. Tour
Tickets cannot be used for more than one Tour Session per day - e.g.
both ticketholders cannot use a Tour Ticket for separate Tour Sessions
on the same day.

10.
|
Hire / Tour procedure
|
Hire Craft cannot be pre-booked by Hire Ticketholders and are subject
to availability. Before hire commences Hire Ticketholders will be
required to show valid photo ID and to leave a hire deposit of the
Hire Ticket and a credit card imprint. Please note that we are unable
to authorise free Hire Sessions unless these requirements are met.
Standard self-hire Terms &
Conditions apply.
Tour Craft cannot be pre-booked by Tour Ticketholders and are subject
to availability. Before joining a public College Backs punt tour Tour
Ticketholders will be required to show valid photo ID and their
Tour Ticket. Please note that we are unable to authorise free places
on public College Backs punt tours unless these requirements are met.

11.
|
Prohibition on absentee hire
|
Hire Ticketholders must be present on Hire Craft throughout Hire
Sessions. The hiring of craft to "loan out" to third parties (i.e.
the Hire Ticketholder is absent for much or all of the Session) is
specifically prohibited. Flouting of this condition will lead to the
immediate cancellation of a Hire Ticket without refund of any monies
paid for the said Hire Ticket.
Tour Ticketholders must be present on Tour Craft throughout Sessions.
Tour Ticketholder absenteeism for much or all of a Tour Session is
specifically prohibited. Flouting of this condition will lead to the
immediate cancellation of a Tour Ticket without refund of any monies
paid for the said Tour Ticket.

12.
|
Prohibition on public and / or commercial use
|
Hire Ticketholders are only entitled to use Scudamore's Hire Craft for
private and personal purposes. Public and / or commercial use is
specifically prohibited. Flouting of this condition will lead to the
immediate cancellation of a Hire Ticket without refund of any monies
paid for the said Hire Ticket.
Tour Ticketholders are only entitled to join Scudamore's public
College punt tours for private and personal purposes. Public and / or
commercial use is specifically prohibited. Flouting of this condition will lead to the
immediate cancellation of a Tour Ticket without refund of any monies
paid for the said Tour Ticket.

13.
|
Amendments
|
Scudamore's reserve the right to alter, amend or change these Terms &
Conditions without prior notice. Any changes will be notified to
Ticketholders by email.
