Summer Season Ticket Terms & Conditions

1. Purchase Summer Season Tickets (the "Tickets") are available online from the Scudamore's website or by telephone from our bookings office. They are not available on-station.
2. Users Tickets are valid for use by the purchaser plus one other nominated user (the "Ticketholders"). Once confirmed, the identity of the Ticketholders cannot be changed.
3. Validity Tickets are valid for from the date of issue until 30 September 2008 (the "Valid Period"), after which date they expire.
4. Days During the Valid Period Tickets are valid on particular days (the "Applicable Days") as follows:
Byron & Milton: weekdays only - weekends and the August Bank Holiday Monday are excluded.
Tennyson & Wordsworth: seven days per week.
Please note: if we consider conditions to be unsuitable or unsafe on any given day, we reserve the right not to open and / or let out self-hire craft.
5. Hours On Applicable Days Tickets can be used between 09:00 and 21:00 or the particular day's closing time if earlier than 21:00 (the "Applicable Hours"). Any hire outside of the Applicable Hours will be charged at standard rates.
6. Hire routes Tickets apply to the two hire routes as follows:
Byron & Tennyson: Grantchester (Top River) only - the College Backs are excluded.
Milton & Wordsworth: Grantchester (Top River) and the College Backs.
7. Stations Tickets apply to our punt stations as follows:
Byron & Tennyson: Mill Lane Boatyard (Top River) only.
Milton & Wordsworth: Mill Lane Boatyard and Mill Lane stations (College Backs), but the Magdalene Bridge station (College Backs) is excluded.
8. Craft Tickets are valid for the following craft; standard 6-person punts, canoes, kayaks, rowboats (the "Hire Craft"). Tickets are not applicable to the hire of 12-passenger ferry punts on the Top River or to chauffeured tours in either direction.
9. Sessions Ticketholders are entitled to one free Hire Craft Session (the "Session") per day. A Session may be as short as one hour or as long as a day (i.e. the full Applicable Hours). Tickets cannot be used for more than one Session per day.
10. Hire procedure Craft cannot be pre-booked by Ticketholders and are subject to availability. Before hire commences Ticketholders will be required to show valid photo ID and to leave a hire deposit of the Ticket and a credit card imprint. Please note that we are unable to authorise free Sessions unless these requirements are met. Standard self-hire Terms & Conditions apply.
11. Prohibition on absentee hire Ticketholders must be present on Hire Craft throughout Sessions. The hiring of craft to "loan out" to third parties (i.e. the Ticketholder is absent for much or all of the Session) is specifically prohibited. Flouting of this condition will lead to the immediate cancellation of a Ticket without refund of any monies paid for the said Ticket.
12. Prohibition on public and / or commercial use Ticketholders are only entitled to use Scudamore's Hire Craft for private and personal purposes. Public and / or commercial use is specifically prohibited. Flouting of this condition will lead to the immediate cancellation of a Ticket without refund of any monies paid for the said Ticket.
13. Amendments Scudamore's reserve the right to alter, amend or change these Terms & Conditions. Any changes will be notified to Ticketholders by email.
