After a relaxing 60 minute punt tour of the College Backs it's time to get your dancing shoes on! We have teamed up with Cambridge’s finest salsa teacher to offer you a 60 minute private dance class, with your instructor taking you through the basic steps.

History of Salsa

Salsa has its roots in Cuban music. Musically, Salsa is a group of Latin rhythmic styles that contain the Clave beat, the five note syncopated rhythmic cell of African origin. Salsa music is a synthesis of European and African musical influences, the European connection being mainly the melodies and harmony of the Andalucian region of Spain.
