Happy New Year!

Now that Christmas is past we come to that time of year again when we look back on the year just gone and think about all that has happened. The year has flown by, as per usual in these recent years and for Scudamore’s it is no different!

We were open throughout the Christmas period, only shutting on Christmas day to allow our hard workers to spend some time with their families too. Throughout the rest of the week though, we have enjoyed brilliant sunny days that have drawn people to celebrate with us during the festive time. The college backs are always beautiful, regardless of the time of year that you visit, and the low sunlight of a winter evening provides a gorgeous colour over the river.

January and February may seem quiet to some people but it is this time of year that the company starts getting ready for the next summer season and so there is a flurry of activity behind the scenes. On the river, hopefully the weather will stay as warm as it has been recently so that you can all make the most of the empty College Backs before we start getting busier.

Now is the perfect time to book your tour for the upcoming year too as we will still be able to fit you into our spring and summer weekends - If you leave it too late we may be booked up! Therefore, start your 2016 in the way that you want to end it; by celebrating on the river Cam surrounded by friends and family. Just for you, we are open on New Year’s Day, 9am until 4pm so make the most of the time you have free from work.
